Inside Gaurav Taneja’s Rs 10 crore Gurugram farmhouse: Where 200 cows power a desi food venture

When it comes to social media, few creators know how to make people pause and notice. Gaurav Taneja did exactly that recently with a playful post that read, “We’re coming to upgrade your night performance.” The post went viral just days before April 1 and sparked a lot of curiosity. Soon, it was revealed to be a prank. The website also highlighted, “This prank is still smaller than the prank you play on your health every single day.”While the internet buzzed about this stunt, a quieter, more grounded part of his life is now coming into focus. Away from the cameras and online attention, he has built a farmhouse that combines traditional living, farming, and business.

A major investment in the heart of Delhi-NCR

Gaurav Taneja has shared that his farmhouse is worth around Rs 10 crore. He has also called it his most expensive investment. But this farmhouse is more than just a high-value property. It serves as a space where he manages different aspects of his work, including farming and running his businesses.

Tradition and practicality in every corner

When Farah Khan visited the farmhouse, she noticed how the house combined tradition and practicality. The indoor walls are coated with cow dung, a method known as lipai. This technique is used to keep the house cool naturally and also acts as a disinfectant. Farah Khan was surprised to see that there was no strong smell at all inside the house despite this traditional method.

A home for 200 cows

The farmhouse also has a large cowshed, where Gaurav Taneja takes care of around 200 cows. He does not sell milk directly. Instead, it is used to make A2 ghee and butter. This approach focuses on creating value-added products rather than just raw milk.

Running his brand from the farm

Gaurav Taneja also runs a food brand called Rosier from the farmhouse. Through this venture, he sells buttermilk, ghee, and pickles. He also introduced Farah Khan to his pickle line, Ghar Ka Achaar, which he manages under the same brand.

Simple meals, warm moments

The visit ended with Farah Khan enjoying a home-style meal of litti chokha with Gaurav Taneja and his family. This moment reflected the simple and grounded side of his life away from online fame.Thumb image: X
