Nvidia looks set to launch its first Arm-based laptop chips at Computex on Sunday, and the build-up has been unusually coordinated. The Windows, GeForce, and Arm accounts on X all posted the same line, “A new era of PC,” alongside the coordinates 25.0528, 121.5990. Those point to the show’s Taipei venue, where Jensen Huang takes the stage Sunday night.The chip in question is the N1X, with a smaller N1 expected to sit below it. Neither name is new. Reports of Nvidia building Windows-capable Arm CPUs first surfaced back in 2023, and they’ve been circling ever since.

What makes this more than another launch is who’s no longer alone. Qualcomm has effectively had Arm-based Windows 11 to itself. Nvidia steps in with Microsoft’s blessing and full Copilot+ support, which puts real pressure on both Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X2 Elite and Apple’s MacBook Neo.The leaked spec sheet backs up the noise. The N1X is reportedly built on TSMC’s 3nm node, with 20 cores split evenly between performance and efficiency, all custom Nvidia designs on Arm v9.2. There’s said to be 32MB of shared cache feeding them.
Blackwell-based integrated graphics could rival a discrete RTX 5060 Ti
The graphics are where it gets interesting. The integrated GPU uses Nvidia’s Blackwell architecture and allegedly runs up to 48 streaming multiprocessors, or 6,144 CUDA cores. That’s roughly RTX 5060 Ti territory, paired with LPDDR5X in a unified memory setup. Nvidia is reportedly gunning for Apple’s M5 Pro and AMD’s Ryzen AI Max 400.Dell and Lenovo have both been linked to N1X laptops, so machines should follow the silicon quickly. Asus piled on too, quote-posting Nvidia’s teaser with a #ProArt tag, a nod that its creator line could be among the first to carry the chip. The specifics land with Huang on Sunday.
