Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt exchanged vows in an intimate wedding at their Pali Hill home in Mumbai. For the occasion, Spratt opted for an elegant ivory lace suit, paired with layered jewellery and a fishtail braid, while Khan kept it classic in a cream kurta, elevated by a brooch for a touch of glam.
Aamir Khan confirms simple registered marriage
Before the wedding, Khan had already confirmed that the couple would skip a lavish celebration in favour of a simple registered marriage on July 5th, with just close friends and family present. He told Deccan Chronicle, “It will be a very simple registered marriage at home, with just both the families and really close friends. We both want to keep it very basic.”
Gauri Spratt’s professional background
Spratt, who now works with Aamir Khan Productions, was previously associated with a salon chain based in Bengaluru. She is also mother to a seven-year-old son from her earlier marriage.
Aamir Khan on feeling “settled” with Gauri Spratt
Khan publicly acknowledged her for the first time during his 60th birthday celebrations in March 2025, mentioning that the two had originally met close to 25 years back before coming together again through his cousin, Nuzhat Khan. “I’ve been fortunate to be in a strong relationship. Like, Reena and I spent 16 years together, and then Kiran and I spent 16 years together, and in many ways we are still together. I’ve learnt so much, and it’s been very enriching. With Gauri, I feel settled,” he had told the press.
Aamir Khan on how the relationship began
The actor had further shared how things unfolded unexpectedly between him and Spratt. Speaking on Raj Shamani’s podcast last year, he had said, “Gauri and I met by mistake and we connected and we became friends, and love happened.”
Aamir Khan’s third marriage and co-parenting
During the same conversation, he openly admitted that he hadn’t expected to find love again following his two previous marriages that didn’t work out. This is the actor’s third wedding — his first, to Reena Dutta, gave him two children, Junaid and Ira Khan, while his second, to Kiran Rao, gave him son Azad Rao Khan. Despite the separations, he continues to share cordial, co-parenting relationships with both his former partners, who were also present at today’s celebration.
