IP University CET to cover 78 programmes with exams continuing weekends until May 23

IPU CET Admit Card 2026: The IP University is set to commence the Common Entrance Test (CET) for admissions into various courses for the academic year 2026-27 starting from April 25. The tests will be conducted at various centres in Delhi and will be held on multiple weekends.As per the Controller of Examinations Dr. S.L. Bhandarkar, the admit cards for the CET exams scheduled for April 25 and 26 are already available for candidates. The candidates need to download the admit cards from the University’s website prior to the exam dates.Courses to be taken for initial test datesOn April 25, the CET test will be held for MA Mass Communication, B.Tech Biotechnology, Lateral Entry BS Packaging, MSc Medicinal Chemistry & Drug Design, MCA/MCA(SE), BA JMC, and Advanced Diploma in Child Guidance & Counseling.Entrance Examinations in MOT (Neurology), MA (English), BHMCT, BS (Packaging Technology), BSc (Yoga), and MSc (Bioinformatics) will be held on April 26 in the University as well as centers in the capital.Exam Centers and CandidatesIn connection with entrance exams in the two aforementioned days, 15 exam centers have been set up in Delhi, where exams for 13 programs will be held in these CETs, attracting 5,484 candidates.The University has scheduled the examinations as per the traditional pattern of OMR sheets. The examinations would be held in two shifts daily.Examinations Schedule and ParticipationCET exams would be held on Saturdays and Sundays till May 23. The morning shift will commence at 10 am and would continue up to 12.30 pm, whereas the afternoon session will begin at 2.30 pm and would conclude at 5 pm. This pattern has been designed keeping in view the high volume of participants.According to Dr. Bhandarkar, the total number of candidates participating in various CETs in relation to 78 programs is estimated to be 50,531. The CETs scheduled to be held on May 9 and May 10, except for the PhD programs, besides the Delhi NCR centers, will also be held in four outstation cities – Chandigarh, Jaipur, Lucknow, and Kolkata.Admit card and instructions for candidatesAdmit cards for all the CET will be issued approximately five-six days before the concerned date of exam. It is required to download the admit card from the official University website.As stated by the University, no change in the date/session/centre will be entertained in any manner whatsoever. It is essential for candidates to follow the schedule strictly.There will be one examination paper for two CET codes 119 and 124, which are associated with the para-medical courses of the University.Helpline numbersCandidates may call on the helpline numbers 25302263 and 25302278 for help regarding their CET exams.
