Jaipur: A private financier was injured after a group of men allegedly fired shots in the air and attacked him with iron rods in Jaipur’s Jhotwara area Wednesday night, police said.Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Prashant Kiran said the injured, Jitendra Sharma, is engaged in the finance business and had an ongoing monetary dispute with the accused.Preliminary investigation suggests the suspects fired in the air during the attack. Sharma sustained injuries after being assaulted with iron rods.Police registered a case and launched a search to trace and arrest the accused, officials said.
