The National Testing Agency (NTA) has introduced the ‘Pariksha Karmayogi’ programme on the iGOT Karmayogi Bharat platform to improve the conduct of national examinations. The initiative trains exam officials, including invigilators and centre superintendents, through structured modules covering preparation, exam-day duties and guidelines, aiming to ensure fair, secure and standardised exam processes across India.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started a new training programme called ‘Pariksha Karmayogi: Capacity-Building Programme for Examination Officials’. It aims to improve how national exams are conducted across India. The programme has been launched on the iGOT Karmayogi Bharat platform and focuses on training exam staff to make the examination process smoother, safer and more organised.

Aim is to train staff in a better manner

This programme is mainly for people who manage and supervise exams, such as Centre Superintendents and Invigilators. These officials play a key role in running exams like NEET (UG) and other national-level tests.NTA says the goal is to make sure exams are conducted in a fair and uniform way across all centres in the country.

Four simple modules for complete training

The course is divided into four parts. The first part explains the role of exam officials and why fairness and transparency are important. The second part focuses on preparation before the exam. It includes checking exam centres, security arrangements and following all official rules. The third part deals with what happens on exam day. It covers everything from before students enter the hall to the end of the exam, including duties during the test. The fourth part is a quick guide. It helps officials quickly revise important instructions and rules.

Online training with certification

The programme is available online on the iGOT Karmayogi Bharat platform. Officials can learn at their own pace and also take assessments to get certified. This makes it easier for exam staff across the country to receive the same training and follow the same standards.

Focus on fair and smooth exams

NTA has introduced this programme to improve discipline and reduce mistakes during large exams. Since millions of students appear for these exams every year, proper supervision is very important. With trained officials, NTA hopes to make exams more secure, fair and well-managed.

Step towards stronger exam system

The initiative shows NTA’s effort to improve the examination system using training and technology. It aims to build a more responsible and well-prepared workforce for handling national examinations in India.
