Prayers at gurdwara on 12 yrs of Modi govt

Lucknow: A special ‘ardas’ (prayer) was held at Gurdwara Sadar to mark 12 years of the Bharatiya Janata Party-led govt at the Centre. Organised by the Lucknow Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee and the All-India Sikh Punjabi Welfare Council, people prayed for national progress, prosperity, unity and continued development.Acting president of LGPC Harpal Singh Jaggi credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for gains in infrastructure, security and global standing. Committee president Rajendra Singh Bagga said initiatives recognising Sikh history and Gurus’ teachings had strengthened community confidence.
