We’ve found the story of corruption at the Ayodhya temple entirely plausible. That’s really our collective shame. That dishonesty and prayers coexist in places of worship seems routine to most of us

Are Indians naturally corrupt? We didn’t even spare Ram. For decades, people fought over his temple in Ayodhya. It shaped politics, divided communities, consumed national attention, and became one of the most emotionally charged issues in modern India. Millions celebrated when the Ram Janmabhoomi temple finally became a reality. And now we are confronted with allegations that the very people entrusted with serving this institution may have stolen from it.
Not from a govt department. Not from a contractor. Not from some faceless corporation. We stole from Ram.
