1. Wake up early in the morning and take a holy bath.2. Clean the puja room and place a idol of Lord Vishnu along with Shree Yantra.3. Light a diya with desi ghee and adorn the idol with flowers and clothes.4. Light incense sticks, offer homemade sweets, 5 fruits, tulsi patra and panchamrit.5. Invoke the idol by chanting Vishnu mantras and recite “Vishnu Sahastranaam” and “Shree Hari Stotram”.6. Fast will be broken on dwadashi tithi, which means the next day during parana time.
