B by Lenskart smart glasses launched for early access: Price, features, and all the details

Lenskart’s first pair of smart glasses is here. B by Lenskart goes on early access in India at Rs 22,000, with the commercial price set at Rs 27,000. The frame weighs 40 grams—lighter than most of what’s already on shelves—and hides a 12 MP Sony camera that shoots 4K stills and HD video. Inside is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon AR1, the same chip Meta uses in its Ray-Ban smart glasses, and an assistant called Buddy that runs on Google’s Gemini.Buddy handles more than 40 languages, Hinglish and several Indian languages included, and uses the camera to actually see what the wearer is looking at before answering.

The rest of the hardware is built around daily use. Three microphones, directional speakers with Discreet, Normal, and Boosted modes, and Japanese ultra-thin blue light lenses do the heavy lifting. The case stretches battery life to 48 hours, and a clever temple-tip cable lets the glasses charge off a phone without coming off the face. An LED lights up whenever the camera is recording—the same privacy cue Meta’s glasses use.The waitlist opened on March 31, 2026, and has crossed 35,000 sign-ups as of May 12. A companion app stores media, manages settings, and routes conversations with Buddy.Peyush Bansal, Co-Founder and CEO at Lenskart, called it the company’s first move into wearables and said the plan is to shape the product around Indian feedback before taking it global.Early access is open on the Lenskart website and app, with the Rs 22,000 price reserved for waitlist customers.
